EP INITIAL SHIRT

The EP shirt is very familiar to Elvis’ fans. Elvis and members of his group were photographed wearing these shirts starting in 1956. It could almost be called a staff shirt.

This product is a little different as it is not an exact replica of what Elvis wore. We decided to go with an Italian collar and long sleeves. Elvis wore many Italian collar shirts with a jacket, such as with the Dorsey jacket. The EP shirt is a dress shirt made of gabardine that has been dyed pink, black, or white. It has five buttons on the front, and double buttons on the sleeve, in the 50’s style. There are two pleats in the back, one on each side of the beautiful chain stitched MEMPHIS FLASH logo. The 50’s style embroidery is one of the greatest features of this shirt and was done by a haute couture tailor. This is our original design and it is sharp and stylish. Worn with a jacket it is an Italian shirt, worn without a jacket it is a staff shirt. Either way it captures the essence of Elvis.
