Lowell Hays entered the retail jewelry market in Memphis, Tennessee in 1970.  He met Elvis Presley in the early 1970’s.  He would become Elvis’ personal jeweler and personal friend for the rest of Elvis’ life.  Lowell Hays designed and handcrafted many pieces of jewelry for Elvis including the TCB and TLC necklaces and the famous TCB ring.  These pieces of jewelry were worn by Elvis personally, and given by him to numerous friends and relatives.
